65 YEARS!!!!!!!!

A few weekends ago we went to my Grandparents 65th Wedding Anniversary!  How special is that?  65 years is not heard of these days.  I hope and pray that I will make it to 65 years with Randy.  What a blessing!  Here are some pics of the day!

Tyler Jacob Talen

I know it's late but soooo excited to announce the birth of Tyler Jacob Talen!  Yahoo!

My long time friend Heather (since pre-school) was blessed with a baby boy April 22, 2011.  What a blessing!  He is absolutely perfect and here are some pics!

I have never see Heather so excited about anything except maybe her job :)  She is a fantastic mother!

Hoarding...buried alive!

So we have a hoarder on our hands.  Miss Taylor has decided that she can't get enough stuff into her/bed.  It is getting mildly annoying.  I cleaned her room one day from top to bottom. I vacuumed & put all the toys downstairs.  It was glorious!  And then I walked into this......not even an hour later......need I say more......

 She actually slept with all the garbage in her bed for a few days until she kept waking up b/c things would fall on the ground.  Now it's all on the ground :(

So have you ever had one of those days where everything is going well?  You think I am totally on top of things.  The kids are fed, clean & somewhat happy.  I am getting the 10 thousand mounds of laundry done & supper is in the crock pot ready to go!  It's rare over here but sometimes it happens. 

Here's the thing.  Gavin was home from school and was asking for a lot of quality time & Taylor wanted her nails painted for the millionth time.  There was coloring & play dough & then all of a sudden I realized I was missing someone....."Where's Owen"!  I went looking around...... & this is what happens when you neglect your youngest child!  Oh my word!  I strapped him in & left him there.  Okay so I guess I didn't have it all together after all.

Happy Valentines Day!

Randy and I have been together for 10 years!  It has all gone by so fast.  We have been married for 8 and dated 2 years before that.  So in honor of our 10 years together...here are 10 things I LOVE about Randy:

1: I love tall dark & handsome and he is just that.

2: I love how he wants to be doing stuff all the time...even if I am not that person myself:)

3: I love what a fantastic father he is...there is nothing he wouldn't do with his kids or for them. 

4: I love how no matter what movie he wants to watch he always lets me pick the one I want to see.

5: I love that whenever he offers to make supper he asks where the hot dogs are?

6: I love how thoughtful he is...he always brings home treats for me.

7: I love how he lets me sleep in on the weekends even if he is just as tired.

8. I love how he is selfless....he always puts the kids and I first.

9: I love how even though he is allergic to pretty much all metals it totally bothers him that he doesn't wear a wedding band.

10:  I love his personality and all that comes with it.  He makes me laugh :)

The last 10 years have been a wild ride and I am looking forward to what's to come!  Besides how can you not love this face!
